Rainforest Canopy Walkway
The Rainforest Canopy Walkway offers breathtaking views across the Biome, and helps explain the importance of rainforests. The new Weather Maker section opens in March 2017, including a rope bridge and an immersive exhibit where you can shelter from tropical rain storms.
Meander through the landscapes of the Mediterranean, South Africa and California and discover the amazing variety of plants growing in these warm temperate regions of the world.
With the sweet aromas of herbs in the air, you’ll take an unforgettable journey through a paradise of brightly coloured flowers, gnarled olive trunks and bountiful vines.
Inside this beautiful building based on the structure of a sunflower, you can press buttons, wind handles and peer inside things to learn about everything from ecosystems and evolution to climate change and plant resources.
Zip wire and adventure activities
Fly on England’s longest and fastest zip wire, plummet at 50mph from 65ft over a cliff edge on a giant swing, or take a leap of faith from a 12-metre platform!
This bustling cafe brings to life the world of baking as our chefs create mouth-watering dishes right in front of your eyes. Every day is different, but you’ll always find a fine selection of food including handmade pastries in the morning, savoury dishes at lunchtime and amazing cakes and scones in the afternoon. They cater for vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, gluten-free and dairy-free diets but if you have a specific requirement or allergy, please tell a member of staff.
