The Mexico Inn, Long Rock is a wonderful local pub just outside of Penzance. After taking over the pub two years ago owners Amy and Tom have transformed it throughout, whilst still managing to maintain the charm and character and a good old fashion pub.
The Mexico Inn, Long Rock are throwing a 70’s themed shindig on Friday 17th March to celebrate a wonderfully successfully two years since they first opened! The pub has been a cornerstone of Long Rock for more than 200 years. Now its food-fanatic owners, Amy and Tom have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere to be enjoyed by visitors and a favourite amongst locals.
On the night there will be 70’s inspired menu with plenty of twists on classic dishes such as Vol au vents, Kievs, Walnut whips and baked Alaska. Everything will be made in house by their excellent kitchen team using fresh, local ingredients. They serve fantastic food at the pub, so this is sure to be great.
Dinner is at 7pm: 7 course menu, £35.00 per person
The whole night is fancy dress with prizes and retro cocktails! The afterparty starts at 9:30pm with DJ’s King Louis & Dance Armstrong bringing disco heat to the Mexico Inn’s birthday bash! They’re Hot as salsa, cool as guacamole, this will not be a sombrero affair. Find out more info on the event here. Booking is recommended and the pub is always busy on the weekend.
If you can’t make it to the event we recommend popping into The Mexico Inn, Long Rock, Penzance when you get a chance. It’s a wonderful village pub with a loyal local following, cosy interiors, good ales and spirits and great food. We recommend the bar snacks – they’re unique, creative and delicious and when you order enough they can serve as a main meal.
