Masked Ball, Porthleven
25th – 27th May
A myriad of rooms, dance floors, dens, hidden bars, unpredictable nano-venues, eccentric humour and epic raves with a soundtrack of New York disco, primal chants, cosmic guitar licks and terrifying techno. The Masked Ball, an event that heralds the start and the end of the great British festival season a bi annual event staged in West Cornwall since 2009 The Spring Ball is carved into the clifftops near Porthleven, overlooking stunning Mount’s Bay for one long weekend in May. This event is over 18’s only.
The Great Estate, Scorrier
1st – 3rd June
Expect major international headline acts, a rambunctious mix of comedy, theatre, music and the arts, all within the beautiful grounds of Scorrier Estate. Look out for their vintage fairground, woodland silent disco, secret gin garden, burlesque sessions, Madame Wong’s House of Wrong, classical corner, Billy Bob’s Hidden Moonshine Bar, glamping, hot tubs, Captain Inkus Tattoo Parlour and the Swamp Circus and many more.
Tunes in the Dunes, Perranporth
Tunes in the Dunes returns in 2018 for a unique three days of live music on the beautiful golden sands of Perranporth beach, Cornwall. With a back drop of scenic cliffs and sand dunes, this will be a truly unique event where you can enjoy an ice cold beverage with your feet in the sand and the ocean only a stone’s throw away.
Bands in the Sands, Perranporth
June – August
A brand new series of events, set on the beautiful golden sands of Perranporth beach in Cornwall. With a sea view as a stunning backdrop, sand at your feet & the sun on your back, these events will be truly unique.
Rock Oyster, Wadebridge
6th – 7th July
Rock Oyster is two nights camping and one rocking party. A festival unlike any other in the UK – they’ll give you a taste of the coast full of music, energy and charm. As well as some of the best oysters, mussels, and other delicious local produce.
Live in the Wyldes, Bude
Set at The Wyldes, one of Cornwall’s most beautiful outdoor venue, Live in the Wyldes is kicking off its second year of one-day music events with music from the award winning Paloma Faith. There’s more acts to be announced to keep an eye on their website for new announcements.
Tropical Pressure, Porthtowan
13th – 15th July
An exciting and inspiring festival to celebrate the rich cultures of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean on the cliffs of Cornwall. Tropical Pressure Festival brings a packed programme of live music, food, dance and culture to Porthtowan.
Port Eliot Festival, St Germans
26th – 29th July
Set in the beautiful Port Eliot estate this literary festival is unlike any other. More like a garden party, this magical weekend allows you to swim in the estuary, picnic under a 300 year old tree, rock out at the Park Stage, canoe on the river, catch an intimate gig in the church, watch a cooking demo in the Big Kitchen or dance ‘till the early hours in the Boogie Round.
27th – 29th July
Leopallooza Festival is a multi award-winning, grass roots music festival that celebrates the very best in new, up-and-coming and established bands, artists and DJs within our bespoke festival site which is nestled in a hidden, tree-filled Cornish valley, just a few miles from the sea. Three days & nights, multiple stages, big names, free camping, family friendly, fairly priced bars… and they sure know how to throw a party.
8th – 12th August
Boardmasters is situated across two iconic locations. Their festival site sits on the cliff top at Watergate Bay, home to arguably the world’s best festival view. They play host to no less than twelve curated stages, with a collection of acts ranging from local acoustic talent, to mind-bending visual performers, to international headliners which this year includes The Chemical Brothers and George Ezra.
Little Orchard Cider and Music Festival, Truro
14th – 16th September
In it’s sixth year, The Little Orchard Cider and Music festival is a charming Cornish party with some big live bands, a groovy silent disco, the BBC Introducing stage, camping and glamping, secret cider walks and cider tasting featuring a huge range of delicious ciders from across the UK plus lots, lots more.
Looe Music Festival, Looe
21st – 23rd September
Looe Music Festival is three days of superb live music in a magical setting on the stunning Cornish coast. A ‘grown-up’ music festival where camping isn’t a prerequisite, where you can visit for the day or the weekend, stay in comfort and eat like a king.
