This year’s St Ives September Festival takes place between Saturday 9th September – Saturday 23rd September.
The St Ives September Festival is a celebration of music and the arts which began almost 40 years ago in 1978. It has come around again with 15 days of music, theatre, poetry, film, walks, talks and arts events from Saturday 9th September to Saturday 23rd September 2017.
There’s so much going on for people of all ages and as the town leaves the hectic August buzz behind it transforms into a creative mecca that brings locals and tourists together.
This year’s headliners include; The John McCusker Band who are performing on the opening night, Cornish group The Changing Room who are performing on Saturday 16th September and the iconic Irish singer Cara Dillon who will close the festival on Saturday 23rd September.
Other acts include Show of Hands, Miranda Sykes and the popular local bluegrass band Flats and Sharps who will perform at the Guildhall on Monday 11th September. The Ronnie Scott’s All stars will perform at the Western Hotel in Royal Square on Tuesday 19th September, with a vast repertoire of jazz music lead by soul-jazz singer Natalie Williams.
