Siân is a talented illustrator, blogger and writer who shares beautiful photos of Cornwall on her Instagram, as well as her gorgeous Springer Spaniel pup, Penny, and her wonderful illustrations.
Just a few miles Northeast of Tintagel, Boscastle is a quaint coastal village in North Cornwall, known for it’s beautiful 16th Century harbour, the Museum of Witchcraft, and the Boscastle Pottery shop. The village also lies with the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is a very popular destination for coastal walkers.
Siân is lucky enough to live in Boscastle and has kind offered to share some of her favourite spots…
“Hi everyone! I’m Siân and I run the Cornish blog The Freckled Fieldnotes. I’ll be showing you a little snapshot of my surroundings here in Boscastle for the next two days. I think this spot at the edge of the town’s ‘Forrabury Stitches’ offers by far my favourite view!”
“Boscastle is home to so many pretty buildings… this sturdy and stubborn little row of white cottages overlooking the harbour make me smile every time I walk past them.”
“This is our crazy Springer Spaniel’s favourite spot! Dogs are welcome in the river here, so you’re always sure to spot a pup having a little paddle.”
“Rounding off a visit to Boscastle with a yummy cream tea and a cup of Cornish brew at the Harbour Light Tea Garden is the perfect way to spend a warm afternoon.”
A big thank you to Siân for sharing your favourite Boscastle places. If you’re a blogger, photographer or Cornish creative and would like do a takeover on St Ives Penzance get in touch.
