World Pasty Championship 2019

2nd March, The Eden Project

This year’s World Pasty Championship takes place in the home of the pasty – Cornwall. Created by and hosted at the Eden Project, the World Pasty Championships take place on the Saturday closest to St Piran’s Day and makes a fitting grand finale to Cornish Pasty Week.

Porthleven Food Festival 2019

26 – 28 April, Porthleven

The Porthleven Food and Music Festival is now in its eleventh year, and  is a well-established event on Cornwall’s food festival calendar. The Festival brings around 40,000 people together in and around the stunning harbour port of Porthleven with national and international chef’s theatre, food stalls, street food, music day and night and entertainment for all.

St Ives Food & Drink Festival 2019

11-12 May, Porthminster Beach

The St Ives Food and Drink Festival takes place on the iconic Porthminster Beach and 2019 promises even more culinary experts, attractions and a wide variety of local beverages and food. In 2019 the festival runs from Saturday 11th to Sunday 12 May and includes the evening music sessions.

Mevagissey Feast Week 2019

23rd – 29th June, Mevagissey

Mevagissey has celebrated the ‘Feast of St Peter’ since 1754 and has evolved into a wonderful community event. The Feast Week Committee have worked very hard to produce a full week of activities and there is no charge for the majority of events organized.

Newlyn Fish Festival 2019

26 August, Newlyn Harbour

One of England’s largest fishing port celebrates all things fishy with the Newlyn Fish Festival on August Bank Holiday. Revelers can satisfy their appetite with some of the best seafood in the world.

Taste of Scilly Festival 2019

1 – 30 September, Isles of Scilly

The fantastic Taste of Scilly festival returns this September with a month-long celebration of the very best in local food, drink and produce from across the five inhabited islands. This year’s event will, in particular, showcase our tiny islands’ outstanding seafood offering alongside other island-grown delights.

Falmouth Oyster Festival 2019

11 – 14 October, Falmouth

The Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrates the start of the oyster dredging season and the native Fal Oyster, as well as a variety of Cornwall’s seafood. There are four days of feasting, cooking demos from top chefs and food experts, and food stalls.

The Great Cornish Food Festival 2019

The Great Cornish Food Festival began life as Cornwall Food & Drink Festival in 2004 and was the idea of Steve Whittingham, owner of Fodders Café in Tinners’ Court adjacent to Lemon Quay. The festival was on hiatus in 2018 but is due to return this year. We will share details as soon as we hear them.
