Sennen Cove has nearly a mile and golden sands this beach is a favourite for locals and tourists alike. It’s also a popular surfing spot as, like Porthmeor, it faces out to the Atlantic Ocean. There’s seasonal lifeguard cover as well as a beach cafe and restaurant, a surf school and shop, toilet facilities and a few nice cafes in the village. There’s also a large car park right next to the beach, but be warned, it will fill up quick on a sunny day to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Please note: There is a seasonal dog ban on this beach and many others in Cornwall. Dogs are welcome to go on the beach except between 1st May and 30th September when a dog ban is in place.
