Porthgwarra, at the heart of St Aubyn Estates Cottages, is a perfect base for exploring the South West Coastal Path, is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest where wild flowers and bird life abound.
Their six holiday cottages are clustered in and around the tiny fishing cove of Porthgwarra, just two miles short of Land’s End. The rugged beauty of the landscape, mesmerising light from the sea and entrancing coves and beaches, make for a life affirming experience.
The holiday cottages and café lie at the heart of the 5,000 acre rural estate, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Special Scientific Interest. A spectacular coastline, soaring seabirds, seals, rare plants and colourful heathland infuse this landscape with a vibrancy throughout the year.
The cottages make a wonderful base for exploring and the team look after the cottages just as they would their own homes, week in, week out, so that each guest has a great experience of comfort and relaxation. The Estate building team also take pride in maintaining the cottages to a high standard throughout the year.
