Once again St Ives Penzance is sharing the best music festivals in Cornwall this year with major established festivals such as Boardmasters and Leopallooza and smaller up-and-coming festivals such as Tropical Pressure Festival.
The Masked Ball: Spring 2019
3 – 5 May 2019, Porthleven
The Masked Ball is an immersive, multi-level party kingdom with ballers all dressed to excess in a venue carved out of the cliffs overlooking the stunning Mount’s Bay. A one of a kind event situated in the quintessentially Cornish fishing village of Porthleven. This is a proper party.
The Great Estate Festival 2019
31 May – 2rd June, Scorrier
The Great Estate Festival is a rambunctious Garden Féte. Expect major international headline acts, a rollicking mix of comedy, theatre, music and the arts, all within the beautiful grounds of Scorrier Estate.
Eden Sessions 2019
2 – 3 July, The Eden Project
This year’s Eden Sessions will feature the one-and-only Kylie Minogue. Other acts are yet to be announced so keep an eye on the Eden sessions website.
Tunes in the Dunes 2019
24 – 26 May, Perranporth
Tunes in the Dunes returns in 2019 for a special three days of live music on the beautiful Perranporth beach in Cornwall. With a back drop of scenic cliffs and sand dunes, this will be a truly unique event where you can enjoy cold beverage with your feet in the sand and the ocean only a stone’s throw away.
Into The Wyldes With Jess Glynne

Chart-topping superstar Jess Glynne will be heading to The Wyldes in July to headline their third Live in The Wyldes show for 2019. Saturday 6 July will see Jess Glynne take to The Wyldes stage with her incredible and multi award-winning mix of pop, soul, R&B and house for a show you won’t want to miss.
Sundowner Sessions, Ibiza Club Classics
28 July 2019 – Lusty Glaze Beach
Lusty Glaze Beach will be hosting ‘Ibiza Club Classics,’ when Symphonica’s 30-piece orchestra will meet the beats of world champion DJ Mr Switch. Conducted by Miles Hancock, this will be an unforgettable night of nostalgic dance music and partying on the sand.
Tropical Pressure Festival
12 – 14 July, Truro
Tropical Pressure Festival is an immersion in the cultures of Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean through music, art food and dance, and all in the beautiful Cornish countryside.
Port Eliot Festival
25 – 28 July, St Germans
Port Eliot Festival is unlike any other. Whether you’re swimming in the estuary, picnicking under a 300 year old tree, rocking out at the Park Stage, canoeing on the river, catching an intimate gig in the church, watching a cooking demo in the Big Kitchen or dancing ‘til the wee hours in the Boogie Round – Port Eliot House is yours for the weekend.
26 – 28 July, Bude
Leopallooza Festival is a multi-award-winning, grass roots music festival that celebrates the very best in new, up-and-coming and established bands, artists and DJs within their bespoke festival site which is nestled in a hidden, tree-filled Cornish valley, just a few miles from the sea.
7 – 11 August, Newquay
Boardmasters is a surf, skate and music festival situated across two legendary locations; Fistral beach and Watergate Bay. Line-up this year includes; Dizzee Rascal, Jorja Smith, Franz Ferdinand and Florence and the Machines.
Cornwall Folk Festival 2019
22 – 26 August, Wadebridge
The Cornwall Folk Festival has acts from across the world, this long running festival takes over the town of Wadebridge offering music on every corner.
Bude Jazz Festival 2019
27 – 30 August, Bude
Bude Jazz Festival focuses on Traditional and New Orleans Jazz and putting a swing in the step of the town each year, the lively four day Bude Jazz Festival features a great bill of both local and national jazz musicians from around the world.
