From lifestyle to parenting, discover some great Cornish blogs that will inspire and entertain.

Since launching St Ives Penzance earlier on this year we’ve discovered a whole community of amazing Cornish bloggers. Whether you’re living in Cornwall or just on holiday in St Ives, these bloggers will fill you with inspiration and ideas for things to do in Cornwall.

The Cornish Life

The Cornish Life is a great lifestyle blog, written by Anna, that focuses on all things Cornwall. It also includes food and drink, travel, a bit of home and DIY and her lovely French Bulldog, Pepper. Anna grew up in Cornwall but only found she really appreciated it after moving to London to go to university. As you can imagine, the new lifestyle didn’t take and she’s back where she belongs on the beautiful Cornish coast. Anna’s been running The Cornish life for over 2 years, after setting it up as a hobby in January 2015. She soon realised how passionate she was about photography and the Cornish lifestyle and has now grown the blog into something of a resource for people aspiring to ‘the Cornish way of life’. Anna’s photography is beautiful and will get you lusting after a trip to the beach in no time.

Stoves in Coves

Stoves in Coves - Cornish Bloggers - St Ives Penzance

Stoves in Coves is written by Hayley Bisofsky, who after growing up on the Welsh coast moved to London in her early twenties. After building up an impressive resume and starting a charity that supported young women who had been trafficked, Hayley visited Cornwall for the first time. She stayed at her friends holiday home in the beautiful village of St. Mawes. Soon after she made the decision to make Cornwall her permanent home and on 30th January 2016,  she drove down to Falmouth and began her new adventure. After meeting her partner Leigh, she decided Newquay was a better fit for her and now lives 30 seconds from Fistral Beach. From Newquay she runs a life coaching business and remotely manages the charity she set up, all whilst running her lifestyle blog. On the blog she shares recipes (she specialising in outdoor and beach cooking) and her many adventures in Cornwall.

A Cornish Mum

Stephanie, or Stevie as she’s better know is mum to two boys, and other half to her partner Simon. She started her blog in January 2015 and covers everything from days out in Cornwall, parenting, travel, DIY and sheds a lot of light on type 1 diabetes (her son was diagnosed at the age of 5). One of her regular blog series is “Photos of Cornwall” a photo based interview series where other bloggers and readers feature their photos and share their favourite places in Cornwall. We were lucky enough to be part of the series back in March.

From Lucy With Love

Lucy has been blogging for over a decade, and started the lifestyle blog From Lucy With Love back in 2013. At the beginning of this year she made the move to West Cornwall with her husband and her cat after years of dreaming about living by the coast. Now Lucy shares some beautiful pictures of Cornwall and we particularly in her weekly gratitude posts. It’s great to read someone’s perspective of Cornwall who’s new to the area, and like Stoves in Coves it’s an excellent blog to check out if you’re thinking of making the move.
